How has your everyday life changed since coming to City Fitness?
I am a single mother of two small children. I used to be so tired and sluggish every day. Since joining City Fitness I now get up, get out the door and go to the gym knowing I will be energized and feel great for the rest of the day.
What are your achievements so far?
I have lost 20kg and 3 dress sizes.
What is your training goal?
I am currently training for the Mackay Marina Run and next year’s Obstacle Hell.
What would be your words of encouragement to someone who wants to achieve their goals and succeed?
Don’t stop! It’s ok to have rest days, but if you put your mind to it and take it step by step, you can make it happen. If you break your goal down, it won’t seem so big. Life is great, have fun and enjoy it.
How often do you visit City Fitness to exercise?
I visit City Fitness Monday – Saturday and attend the Group Fitness Classes. I sometimes go in the morning and the evening.
What is your favourite group fitness class?
I enjoy Body Attack, Body Pump and Kimax.
Do you visit the same location or do you train at our other locations?
I mostly go to Victoria Street, however, I do visit Mount Pleasant to attend Grit Strength Classes.
