This month we celebrate Jodie & Chris Jackson. Our April 2017 Members of the Month:
How has your everyday life changed since coming to City Fitness?
We are feeling more confident, healthy and have a more positive attitude.
What are your achievements so far?
We have just completed the 12-week Max & Maxine’s Challenge successfully with the help and support of the City Fitness team. Our physical ages are now well below our actual ages. Between us we have dropped a combined weight of 16kg, our body fat percentages have reduced and we have lost centimeters.
What is your training goal?
Now that we have come this far, we want more muscle definition and to stay toned by continuing to train regularly.
What would be your words of encouragement to someone who wants to achieve their goals and succeed?
It’s all about the mindset! We enjoyed doing the challenge together as it brought out that competitive edge between us, which made us both strive to do our best. The City Fitness team will tailor a program specifically for you and they always make you feel welcome and part of their team.
What is your favourite exercise/class?
We don’t have any particular favourite. We enjoy varying our program every four weeks so we never get bored.
What is your exercise/ training routine?
In the last four weeks of our challenge we were training seven days per week. We now plan to have Sundays off for a while. Training is now part of our lifestyle and we love it!
